Assessment Lesson

The assessment lesson is 1.5 hours and costs £30.

The deposit is £100. 
This will enable us to book your driving test and secure your course dates. Not to be paid until the assessment lesson has been done.

The deposit should be paid through our office electronically, either by cash or cheque direct to the instructor after the assessment lesson, via credit/debit card call over the phone (0800 085 0078 or 01303 279755) via 

Balance

The balance must be paid 10 working days prior to the start of you course.

Money held on account

Each instructor is self employed and is either a franchised instructor or one of our associates. Any money paid to the office is held on account until the instructor invoices us for payments due. We will act as agent for both pupil and instructor in cases of dispute or refund. Money paid direct to instructors cannot be held as our responsibility. 

Refund

Due to Pupil cancellation (all reasons)

10 working days plus = 100% refund - £25 admin charge
5 to 9 working days = 50% refund - £25 admin charge
0 to 5 working days = 0% refund

Due to Instructor cancellation (all reasons)

0 to 10 working days = 100% refund + £25 goodwill gesture
If course has started then 100% - value of lessons taken + £50 goodwill gesture. (Normally if instructor goes ill or car breaks down and no replacements can be found, this is very rare!)

Due to bad weather

This is the instructors decision based on safety and the closure of the local test centre. No refunds, but lessons and tests will be rearranged.

Driving test cancellations by the DSA

We cannot be held responsible for the actions of government departments. If the DSA cancel a driving test we will work with you and your instructor to obtain the next suitable date.

Additional lessons

If time allows, you can book additional lessons at £23 per hour.
